Produced by Kasthuri Raja
Starring Dhanush, Shruti Haasan
Music by Anirudh Ravichander
Moonu imbibes and kindles our emotions to great folds. Aishwarya Dhanush well etched it while it's second half portions were classy catering to laurels showered by classy film lovers (specifically). First half is poised in all aspects. Performance and Technicalities are commendable and overwhelming. Dhanush who suffers from Bipolar Disorder (as in Moonu) unveils his excellency in acting to give vibrance to the role. Moonu pierces into the list of films that are celebrated for it's poignant make. Special mention to Shruti Hassan, Shivakarthikeyan and,.. Anirudh whose foot tapping music score rolls the audience into rejoice and threads them into the flow and progress of the story. Evident that there was inexorable restlessness among mass audience towards the dead end of Moonu. A Positive end or a appropriate mould at the climax might have made Moonu to be noted as "ineffable".
Bipolar disorder is a condition in which people go back and forth between periods of a very good or irritable mood and depression. The "mood swings" between mania and depression can be very quick.
Rating : 3.7 out of 5 stars
